One of my personal mantras is “work smarter, not harder,” so most of Your Wild Home’s posts in this category center around simple ways you can inexpensively and quickly improve your home. I think it’s a common misconception that this kind of focus means you’re some kind of fanatic for efficiency or an extreme cost-cutter. In reality, I’m just lazy, so if something is going to cost me less (in the short or long term) and save me time, why the heck wouldn’t I do it?

As ~one of those~ crazy dog people, you’ll also find a few ideas on ways to accommodate for your pup at home. Whether you’re renting or own a home, there are plenty of ways that you can make Fido feel more at home so it reduces potential damage. Let’s be honest, those first few months of dog-ownership are mostly fortified by those puppy eyes. But those puppy eyes won’t get your security deposit back from your landlord or increase your home resale value. So being proactive is your best bet!

Everyone has a different style and budget, which makes providing universal home décor and home improvement advice largely impossible. What you’ll find on here is an assortment of advice that reveals how you can easily keep the inside of your home organized and running relatively smoothly. Best of all, none of these ideas will cost you a pretty penny.
